![]() Because it was written in ancient language under the limitation of knowledge when it was written, I Ching has lost its influence since Xinhai Revolution, which introduced dramatic changes to China. Practitioners of I Ching can practice the type of divination which is called Cleromancy. I Ching actually existed long before Confucianism. I Ching is one of five classics that is rooted in Confucianism. As one of the oldest Chinese classics it takes basis in looking at the world in a brand-new way by removing some of the mysteries that can often cloud a path of an individual. In a way it almost turns almost everything in our lives into a giant algebra equation. The most fundamental elements of ancient I Ching start with transferable wisdoms through the description of natural phenomenon’s or human activities.
